Terms & Conditions

Last updated: May 2025

Service Description

Siam Tranship provides:

  • Coordinating shipment logistics between Thai sellers and USA buyers
  • Managing scheduled shipment and cut-off dates
  • Collecting and processing transhipping fees
  • Arranging air cargo from Thailand to the USA
  • Coordinating USA delivery or pickup

Siam Tranship is a coordination service, not a fish retailer, and is not responsible for fish quality, health, or condition before delivery to us unless explicitly identified as the seller.

Buyer Obligations

  • Provide accurate and complete information in the booking form
  • Provide a correct, deliverable USA address
  • Be available to receive the shipment
  • Pay before the cut-off date
  • Comply with US federal, state, and local import laws for the species
  • Review and accept the Shipping and Refund policies before booking
  • Not misrepresent species or quantity

Seller Obligations

  • Only sell fish healthy for air transport
  • Pack fish to safe standards
  • Deliver to the consolidation point by the cut-off
  • Provide accurate species, count, and size information
  • Make no promises that conflict with Siam Tranship policies

Payment Terms

Transhipping fees are due at booking confirmation; bookings are not confirmed until payment is received. We use secure third-party payment processors, in USD. The fee excludes the cost of the fish, which is paid separately to the seller. Prices are subject to change; the price shown at the time of booking is the price charged.

Limitation of Liability

Siam Tranship's liability is limited to the transhipping fee paid for the specific booking. We are not liable for:

  • Fish quality, health, or seller representations outside our service
  • Deaths from seller packing failures, pre-existing conditions, or buyer handling errors
  • Losses from airline, customs, weather, or carrier delays
  • Losses from incorrect addresses, missed delivery, or late pickup
  • Import restrictions, confiscation, or species legality issues
  • Indirect, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages

Third-Party Services

We work with third-party logistics providers, airlines, customs brokers, and payment processors, and are not responsible for their failures beyond what is stated in the Shipping Policy. Thai sellers are independent third parties and are not controlled by Siam Tranship.

Force Majeure

Siam Tranship is not liable for delay or failure caused by acts of God, natural disasters, pandemic, government action, airline strikes, customs disruptions, or war.

Dispute Resolution

Contact us first for informal resolution — we respond within 3 business days. These terms are governed by Thai law for Thailand operations and applicable US federal or state law for USA-delivered services.

Modifications

These terms may change at any time. The updated date will be posted on this page. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.
