Scope of Service

Siam Tranship provides freshwater fish transhipping and coordination services from Thailand to the USA — betta, guppy fish, flowerhorn, and other freshwater ornamental fish by request. We are a transhipping service provider, not necessarily the seller of the fish. Fish are typically purchased directly from Thai sellers by the USA buyer.

Shipment Schedule

Shipments depart on scheduled dates published on the Schedule page. Dates and availability are subject to change based on airline schedules, cargo space, customs, seasonal restrictions, and operational considerations. Siam Tranship reserves the right to reschedule or cancel a shipment and will offer a transfer to the next available shipment date.

Cut-off Dates

Cut-off is typically 2 days before the scheduled departure. Bookings made after cut-off go to the next available shipment. Sellers must deliver fish to the consolidation point by the cut-off — late submission may push the order to the next shipment with no refund of the original fee for the missed slot.

Seller Responsibility

The Thai seller is responsible for:

  • Fish health, condition, and quality before shipment
  • Proper packing for air transport (oxygen bags, appropriate water, suitable containers)
  • Delivering to the consolidation point by the cut-off
  • Accurate fish counts, species, and handling notes

Siam Tranship is not responsible for fish quality or seller promises — disputes are between the buyer and seller.

Buyer Responsibility

The USA buyer is responsible for:

  • Correct and complete delivery address
  • Availability to receive the shipment
  • Booking before the cut-off
  • Compliance with local import laws for the species
  • Having appropriate tank or housing ready

Siam Tranship is not responsible for losses from an incorrect address, missed delivery, or failure to be present.

Delays and Disruptions

Shipments may be affected by airline changes, cancellations, or cargo restrictions; customs inspection or detention; weather; carrier delays or rerouting; and holidays or other operational disruptions.

Delays outside Siam Tranship's control do not automatically entitle a refund — see the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Fish Eligibility

Siam Tranship may refuse, hold, or return shipments that don't meet health or transport standards, aren't approved species for US import, are improperly packed or labeled, or exceed the agreed quantity or size. Flowerhorn and large fish require custom preparation and pre-approval.

Delivery Methods

We offer home delivery (to a USA address via designated carrier partners) or airport pickup (buyer must collect within the required timeframe). Availability varies by state, city, and shipment date.
