From Thailand to Your Door

A journey across the world

How It Works

How the Transhipping Process Works

A simple 3-party process that connects Thai fish sellers with USA buyers through SiamTranship's coordination service.

A transhipping and coordination service. Not a fish retailer.

The process

Five steps, start to finish

Follow the timeline below. Each step tells you what happens, and what you need to do.

  1. 1

    Buy from a Thai seller

Find your fish through a Thai breeder or seller on Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, or LINE. Agree on the price and pay the seller directly. SiamTranship is not part of that purchase.

Good to know · The fish price goes to the Thai seller. It is separate from our transhipping fee.

  2. 2

    Book transhipping online

Fill in the booking form on SiamTranship.com: your USA delivery address, the Thai seller's details, fish type, quantity, and the shipment date you want. Then pay the transhipping fee securely online.

Deadline · Book before the cut-off date — usually 2 days before the scheduled shipment. See the shipment schedule.

  3. 3

    Seller ships the fish

Once you have booked, we contact your Thai seller and confirm the schedule. The seller prepares the fish and ships them on time, bagged and secured inside boxes made for air transport.

Responsibility · The seller is responsible for the health of the fish and for packing them before shipment.

  4. 4

Transit from Thailand to the USA

Your fish fly by air cargo from Bangkok to the United States. Transit time depends on the route and your destination city. We track the shipment and keep you updated the whole way.

Please note · Airline schedules, customs, or weather can delay a shipment. We tell you as soon as we know.

  5. 5

Receive your fish in the USA

When the shipment lands, your fish are delivered to your address or made ready for airport pickup — whichever method you chose at booking. Please be ready to receive them straight away.

Before you book · Live fish shipments carry inherent risk. Fish health and condition is the seller's responsibility, not ours — please read our Shipping Policy first.

Who does what

Clear responsibilities, no surprises

Three parties are involved in every shipment. Here is exactly what each one handles — and what sits outside our scope.

01 · Party 1

Thai breeder / seller

  • Sells the fish to the USA buyer at the agreed price
  • Prepares the fish: health and packing
  • Ships to the consolidation point on schedule
  • Responsible for fish health before shipment
  • Must ship by the cut-off date
02 · Party 2

USA buyer (you)

  • Pays the Thai seller directly for the fish
  • Books and pays the transhipping fee at SiamTranship.com
  • Provides a correct USA delivery address
  • Is available to receive the shipment
  • Reads and accepts our policies before booking
03 · Party 3

SiamTranship

  • Coordinates between the seller and USA logistics
  • Manages the shipment schedule and cut-off dates
  • Collects and processes the transhipping fee
  • Arranges air cargo from Thailand to the USA
  • Coordinates USA delivery or airport pickup
  • Communicates tracking and updates
04 · Outside our scope

Not our responsibility

  • Fish quality promised by the seller
  • Condition of the fish before packing
  • Airline, customs, or weather delays
  • An incorrect delivery address given by the buyer
  • Missed delivery or late pickup by the buyer
